Lyn Diefenbach: Visiting Artist from Australia

Lyn was accepted into the International Guild of Realism in 2008, and holds Master Pastellist status with the Pastel Society of Australia. Lyn was awarded Eminent Pastellist status in the International Association of Pastel Societies in 2019, having achieved master Circle status with that group in 2014. Lyn was accepted into the Pastel Society of America as a Signature Member in 2016. She has been featured numerous times in the International Artist, Pastel Journal, Pratique des Arts and Australian Artist magazines.

Terrilynn Dubreuil: Visiting Artist from Maine

Travel and art are beautifully connected in this artist’s life, blending a love of exploring the world with creating original soft pastel paintings that express joy, creativity, and spiritual sensitivity. Her work balances impressionism and realism through vibrant use of color, light, and texture. With a Fine Arts degree and decades of diverse study, she has taught various art techniques to all ages for over thirty years, both in-person and online. She has lived or traveled in fourteen countries, speaks three languages, and recently moved to Asheville, NC. A Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and Pastel Society of Maine, she exhibits widely and has earned awards including First Place in the 2023 IAPS Exhibit and 8th Place in the 2024 Société des Pastellistes de France International Show. She offers workshops, demos, and classes through venues like the Asheville Art Museum, her TravelingArtista YouTube channel, and her active Patreon page.

Don Kolstad: Zoom Fine Art Courses & In person Workshops

Don has been a professional artist since 1982. With 8 cameras, specialized lighting, and two monitors, Don brings you the most professional digital art learning experience yet!!! Your screen will show the artwork and his mixing palette side by side, in real time, to optimize your understanding of the process.

Materials are not included. The class and materials can be ordered through Blaine’s Art Supply, and materials can be picked up at Blaine’s Art Supply. Call 561-5344 for more information or to register.

The online classes will be conducted using the Zoom app and you will need to download that to your computer before the class. I will contact you with information regarding Zoom once I have your email address.
