Intermediate Drawing

Join artist, David Pettibone, for a 6-week, remote, intermediate drawing course. Together will will cover perspective, value, proportions, and the portrait through the use of graphite and color. This is an interactive workshop. Students will be given exercises to complete outside of the hour and a half meeting time and will recieive feedback during class time. We will explore examples through art history, demonstrations will be given and discussions will be encouraged. Recordings are available for the duration for the 6 weeks.

Supply List:

Drawing pad- medium to large, NO NEWSPRINT

Multiple sheets of toned paper (warm or cool)  

Drawing board (suggested)

graphite pencils- a range of H and B

Colored pencils- white, black (Ivory Black) and an earth red (suggested earth reds: Burnt Sienna, Indian Red, Venetian Red)
