Kate Powers: Summer Landscapes
Capture the energy of the Alaskan landscape through loose, expressive painting. In this workshop we'll explore simple approaches to painting mountains, water, sky, and terrain using watercolor or acrylic techniques. Rather than focusing on realism, we'll emphasize color, atmosphere, and movement to create vibrant landscape paintings. Students will complete several landscape studies while learning approachable techniques for painting natural scenery.
