Toddler Time: Sensory Art

Announcing Toddler Time at Blaines! Come join for an hour art class for some midweek creativity. This September series will focus on the Sensory Art working with a variety of media to explore our senses and their role in creativity. This class is targeted for ages 1 to 5 and requires a parent or adult guardian to attend with their toddler student artist. Younger or older ages are welcome to join with their parents as observers; a fee is required for all participating artists.

Art is a great way to build fine motor, social, and perception skills for young creators. This class will guide youngsters to explore sight, touch, smell, sound, and taste through hands-on activities for creative expression. This course provides a safe space for messy fun, and you can leave the clean up in the classroom! Activities will include bubble play and art, DIY play dough, and ingredients for a take home edible treat.

Supplies are included with this course, but suggested students come with an old t-shirt, smock, or other play clothes. Due to the nature of sensory creative time, please let the instructor know about any allergies or specials needs.
